Health Department Announces Return to Normal Schedule

Due to recent announcements from the Illinois Department of Public Health restoring a major source of local funding, the DeWitt/Piatt Bi-County Health Department has announced it will be returning to it's normal schedule.  Beginning Friday, August 7, 2009 the Health Department will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

"We're especially grateful on behalf of those we serve that state officials have restored funding to one of our major grants", said Dave Remmert, Public Health Administrator, "this grant provided an important level of support to many of our core public health programs including sanitation services and communicable disease control".
