School Health Program
September 06, 2010The mission of the School Health Program is to promote optimal health of school-aged children and adolescents by providing preventative healthcare services in accordance with the State of Illinois School Code requirements. The Dewitt-Piatt Bi-County Health Department is committed to recognizing the diverse needs of students and families, to encouraging them to become equal partners in their health care, and to providing appropriate screenings and referrals for medical, dental and mental health services.

Eligibility: The school health program provides quality medical services at reduced fees. No one is refused services because of inability to pay.
• Must be a student in a DeWitt or Piatt County school
• Open to children and adolescents entering kindergarten, fifth or ninth grade
• No income or insurance criteria; Medicaid accepted
• Credit cards, cash or checks are accepted
• We do not bill third-party, private insurance
