September 03, 2010AIDS Testing Services, and Support Individuals seeking HIV testing are referred to Macon and Champaign Counties for services: www.maconcountyhealth.org and www.cuphd.org/hivservices Anyone living with HIV/AIDS is eligible for case management services, regardless of income or insurance. Those who meet income and insurance guidelines are also eligible for dental care, housing services, utility support, primary HIV medical care, nutrition services, vaccinations, transportation assistance, mental health services and legal services. Influenza & pneumonia shots are offered during the flu season (October – March). |
Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) Information We offer STD testing in our Piatt County office including diagnostic services and treatment for gonorrhea, chlamydia, human papilloma virus infections (genital warts), genital herpes, syphilis, and trichomonas. Hepatitis A and B immunizations may be administered to our STD clients. HIV risk assessment is also available with referral for testing. |
Tuberculosis Testing and Treatment We offer TB skin tests every week, and follow-up tests and treatment when needed for those who test positive. Field TB testing is available for groups. |
