IDPH has encouraged Illinois Residents to "Fight the Bite’ and Avoid Ticks During Lyme Disease Awareness Month.  They have also provided a Illinois Tick Surveillance Map.  It is an interactive map that documents the counties in Illinois where the different tick species have been confirmed as well as the diseases they may carry.
